The Free Draw for a Free Painting!!!

The prize in the INTERNATIONAL interactive FREE DRAW is a 5" by 7" unframed painting of a scene in North Kerry, in oils on canvas, (unframed but with the picture continued round the edges). Entry is by sending the title of the painting that you would like from the Picasa Album "Small Open-Air Miniatures". (Look now to see the selection available!) by e-mail, to bobscottnorthkerry@gmail.com

There is no need to write a comment in yoiur e-mail,, but any, about the paintings or the website, are always welcome. However, they won't affect your eligability or the result of the draw

In what way is the competition "Interactive" and "International"?
The draw is open to anyone, all over the world. Several paintings have already been sent to winners outside of Ireland. The competition promotes interest in my website and paintings
How will the winner be chosen?
The names of all the people who send in a comments in the particular month are numbered and a number is selected by Random Number Generator.
Why have I got a big chance of winning?
Only people who select a picture and contact me are included in the competition (and not everyone on the mailing list).

Are there any catches?
Everybody who enters who is not already on the e-mailing -list will be placed on it. All this means is that you will receive a short monthly e-mail newsletter about new developments on the site. Winners names and country of origin are the only pieces of personal information that will be published on the site and in the newsletter.
Who has won this competition?
In the early days of this competition a cumulative list of the names and countries of all the previous winners, till there were over 20, was published, but this has been discontinued. The previous month's winner is announced on this page, and in the newsletter. The July winner was Bernadette O' Sullivan, from Ireland, who chose the "Cashen Estuary flowing out into the Atlantic Ocean". There was no competition in August, September, or October.

What are the other rules?
1. All reasonable care will be taken to ensure that the prize reaches the winner promptly and in good condition, but no responsibility will be accepted for the loss or damage or failure to arrive of any prize, nor will a substitute be provided.
2. No communication will be entered into regarding the selection of the winner.
3. The organizer has the right to change any of the above rules, or to discontinue the competition, at any time.

4. This competition does not take place in any month in which no newsletter has been sent out.
5. Entries only count for the month in which they are sent. Each month a new e-mail must be sent in order to be in the draw for that month
